The Beautiful Girls are terrorists!
Terrorists?
Got this in the inbox this morning...Talk about paranoia!
On the day prior to their first show in the U.S. The Beautiful Girls were stopped by the border guards above Minneapolis, because they failed to deliver the correct paperwork and 2 of the band members (keyboards and drummer) were judged to pose such a threat to homeland security that they were not allowed into the country.
That alone would be a set back but not insurmountable, however the band members in question were banned for a year and faithful t.b.g soldier Matty Woo (tour manager extraordinaire), troubled and threatening insurgent that he is, will not be allowed to enter the US for ten (10) years.
The tour with Mofro will now not be going ahead in any capacity. This is obviously a big problem and not a good scenario for the band and the fans and it's going to disappoint some people - the band is obviously very disappointed - but they will be back. t.b.g. apologize for any inconvenience to anyone who anticipated, or traveled, to see the band on this tour, and thank everyone for their continued support.

Also one for the rumour mill. A friend of a friend of another friend's 3rd cousin in law (thanks DRJ) says The Pixies will be touring Australia late November or early December*.
*If this rumour is false, you have every right to hunt me down and kill my family (I'd do the same thing if you were me)

I dont think i like that disclaimer at the bottom of your blog. i dont like what that implies for my short, unfulfilled, yet somewhat meaningful (at least to me) life. You better be right about that rumour or I'm not leaving you anything in my will.
