KRILL
Sydney, Australia Reading the Herald this morning I came across an article describing the sudden explosion of guitar sales across the country. Moreover, a large chunk of these guitars are finding themselves in the arms of women - rock goddesses to be exact. This makes complete sense with the sudden rise in female fronted bands across the country. Music and women together (and perhaps a beer or 10) - I can't get enough at the moment.
So I'm sitting here listening to the latest female fronted band that's caught my eyes, sorry, I mean ears. Sydney band KRILL is like an 80's explosion. Synths, jiving guitars, heavy drums and Sleater Kinneyish type vocals - they have the complete package and having just browsed the Unearthed charts for the umpteenth time, the rest of Australia would agree (3 songs in the top 100).
Enjoy these tunes from a new up and comer.
