Goddamit! How much goodness can one city serve! S Town should be jealous of these folk! Seriously! I have made it my mission of late to cross the Nullabour Plains and pay a visit to the 'Fremantle Doctor' to sample some fine, tasty, super cool tunes. For those of you who aren't aware, you most probably just read the above and thought "hmmm....what!? Stuey's daily source of essential musical fibre comes from some strange doctor practicing a wierd medicine called 'Fremantle' in the middle of some f-ing desert! Whoa!". Well as much as we pride ourselves on our depth of research here at Sandwich Club, I have to let you down and say no I was in Perth. Well not physically but....... ah anyways. There is this band there that captivated me today as the rain imposed a lockdown and the wind belted my hammock into next week.

THE PREYTELLS create a cocoon of warmth around you when their folding riffs cruise over you. The kind of warmth you would feel when sitting in a loungeroom surrounded by an open fire and dwarfing leather couches whilst guzzling a bottle of your finest red (mwahah!). THE PREYTELLS are a tight knit familial combination consisting of Will Tell, his brother Jacob on Bass, Cousin Audrey on lead guitar and vocals, B Tell on drums. They are clearly 60's savvy but aren't without obvious modern day influences such as Arcade Fire, Kings of Leon, Jose Gonzalez, Brian Jonestown Massacre, Jeff Buckley and of course Radiohead. So when it storms, or your other sambos are stale, let these guys take over your stereo. You will be greeted by a new experience.
