Souls She Said

LA, United States
Souls She Said. I don't know why she said it but if she was making some trippy metaphorical reference for how this US band manages to pierce deep into everyone's hidden desire to run wild and thrash about completely ad-lib (possibly nude) to their favorite rock song well then yeah I can see why she did.
The truth is everyone has this hidden desire in their soul, these guys just choose to unleash it. Souls She Said is the alter-ego of non other than the boys of The Icarus Line (Joe Cardamone and Don Devore).
To be honest I hadn't heard of SSS prior to stumbling upon their debut album As Templar Nites, but in the microscopic time frame that I had allocated to listening to this album I realized sharply that I wanted to go back in time and give myself a good "wake up!" slap in the face.
All these splendid tracks are highly danceable or thrashable, more so than those of The Icarus Line. It is an album that you will forever desire to play a dozen decibels above your speaker's capacity just to get back at you old neighbor that calls the cops if you sneeze too loud. Let this Iggy Pop-esque music slap them in the face for you. The Cops would be extremely proud!
Here's a sneaky peak from their album, released in Australia on 3rd February...
