I'll admit that I'm a little lost when it comes to the wonderful world of Yoko, but after chatting to Simon from Tic Toc Tokyo last weekend, he finally convinced me that I should take the plunge. Call it fate or coincidence, but around the same time, the fine people at EMI UK sent us a couple of samples of the new Yoko Ono tribute album, Yes, I'm A Witch, which is set for release in a week or so. It's left me feeling some awe for Lennon's other half; it seems she was unjustly overshadowed.
So as I said, we have one more sample to share, this time Antony from Antony & The Johnsons is giving his own take on 'Toy Boat'. Yes that is Yoko singing. The artists were given the original Yoko vocals plus any other musical element they liked from the track and then rerecorded with their own spin.

Yes, I'm A Witch is due for release 19th February
