Dappled does Dallas's brother, Austin.

I said my little farewell to Dappled Cities the other day at Laneway Festy with a raised fist in the air, tequila in my guts and a tear in my eye. They're outta town to play SXSW, and start working that cracker of an album, Granddance, all over the States.
Speaking of things both grand and dappled, they have just had 'Fire, Fire, Fire' pinched by DFA, those production whizkids from NY, James Murphy and Tim Goldsworthy. They're shit hot right now, so its all smiles for Dappled as the sail off into the sunset. Have fun..
Heres the original and the DFA version.

personally, i prefer it when a remix adds a new perspective to the original. This one... er... doesnt.

insipid remix, probably knocked out in 20 minutes. original is roughly, oh, 1,000 times stronger
