More Radelaide: Morals of A Minor

Adelaide, Australia
There is so much good music in Adelaide these days; Poly & The Statics, Fire! Santa Rosa, Fire!, City Riots, Lady Strangelove, No Through Road... pheeuw. Well I've been enlightened to another delightful band from the city of churches, Morals of A Minor. They cite influences from Floyd, The Police and U2; however I see more early eighties rock here. Explosive and energetic, definitely some Van Halen in there somewhere.
Morals of A Minor are currently making waves around Australia with high rotation on Triple J, a Big Day Out performance and an appearance in MTV's kickstart competition fought out in Adelaide last night (anyone know who won?).
Check out these great tracks. I'm particularly fond of 'Running Late'.

I will have to check them out.. thanks for the list.
I would have liked to have seen Morals win, they are incredibly talented and i love their sound, but Special Patrol are worthy winners and their sound was a bit crisper on the night...

Too try hard for my liking. Singer pulls too many Bowie moves. Gay. I heard one of them owns a shop for fags.

This band is fucking shit. Dude needs to sing properly and stop trying to put on voices. Drummer looks like agro. Met them after their show and they were just drunken idiots who thought highly of themselves. Not into fashion bands.

Sounds been done before. Hit the jackpot and all made of rubies are ten times better man!!
they'll get better in time. they need to concerntrate more on the sound and less on the image.

The guys singing sounds a little bit forced. It could have just been my ears on the night though. I think the bass player is cool though. Very laid back.

They are thrashed out.

Call me boring, but I like to see a little bit less ego from Australian bands. The whole essence of music in this country and beauty is that we are not trying to be something we are not. Australia very rarely embraces egostistical behaviour. Just my opinion. But what would I know. I'm just an old guy who happened to be at one of their shows.

I think they are quite a good band. Pity that Adelaide is so small and I know what each other them are like in real life. Still it is good to support bands whi your friends are friends with. She made me go, but I was pleasantly suprised.

Unbelievable! Great work fellas.

Oh and Special Patrol are not as good as this band.

lead singer of morals looked like he came in on the special bus. did more squealing and throwing his body around than he did singing. should put more effort into trying to sing than trying to look eclectic. If you don't naturally have it, don't force it
