Big ups to Pete (Open Your Eyes) for finding this absolute cracker of a tune. It's got cute duelling male/female vocals, clarinet, shimmering guitars, handclaps and castanets. This is off an album released in 2005 (after signing with Sub Pop), but when a song is this good it's worth digging out of the archives. In more relevant news, The Brunettes have just signed with Etch N Sketch and will be out here touring their soon-to-be-released 3rd album in August.

Polyester Meets Acetate is one of those songs that could be straght out of a US College movie, when the boy and girl finally get together.
AND, JB are selling this able for $10 or so at the moment, so if you can get your hands on it, you will not be disappointed!!
