Ned Collette - New Single

Melbourne, Australia
I find there are two types of music listeners, those who love lyrics and those who love melody. I fall in the latter group but that by no means is better. Each to their own. Music in however way you interpret it affects us all (and severely underrated... try and count how many songs you hear in a day. It's everywhere!). Given there are these two sides to music, every now and then an artist pops up that seemingly fills the void (Neil Young was the greatest!) Well Ned Collette is one such artist. Beautiful, folky melodies supporting amazing lyrics that seamlessly fit together to pluck at the emotions. In fact his music runs on so many levels you could listen to him intensely or just have him on in the background while playing cards.
Enjoy this single from Ned's upcoming new album, Future Suture, out late September through Dot Dash.

Melody is the key for me also, lyrics come later but if the former is missing it's a dead duck.
