I heard The Grates new single today. I can't believe those guys are recording again, they've only just released their debut LP and they're on tour. How the heck do they find time to record a new single?
Actually, hold on a sec, that's not The Grates, it's ... Metric? Wait... it's neither. It's Be Your Own Pet. Oh man I'm in love. My two favourite girl bands had some kind of lesbian relationship and gave birth to Be Your Own Pet (ok ok, they're not completely girl bands because there are guys but their lead vox are girls). Anyway have a listen to a couple of tracks from their debut self-titled LP (purchase here).
