It seems that every year Montreal gives birth to a great new indie band... here's another, Malajube.
Having layed low under the radar since 2004, the 5 piece have just been launched to the international stage gaining a solid 8.2 for their second album Trompe-l'oeil from make you or break you website, Pitchfork Media. An 8.2 is no small feat considering they sing in French and sound like the Muppets on crack. They're kooky, fun and unless you speak their language, you won't understand a word they say (it's fun to pretend though! They told me I should burn my dog... haha, it's funny because I don't even own a dog!)
