Bird Automatic & Deerhoof New Songs

Looks like Cait beat me to it but I was going to plug that gig sometime this week. Anywho Bird Automatic ,who are one of my faves and happen to be supporting Cloud Control this Friday, sent us a newbie which I really like. A nice little uplifting tune - yes I'll be fine.

Also just found out my favourite Japanese fronted, American band, Deerhoof, are about to release their new album, 'Friend Opportunity' on the 23rd of January. This is perfect timing considering they're playing some dates out here in April (including The Great Escape).
Make sure you check these guys out - they've got a great unique sound that may take a couple of listens - but once you're in, you're hooked. Check out +81 from their upcoming album and Wrong Time Capsule - my favourite off their last.
