I [HEART] Tucker B's
Tucker B's c/o of Boudist
Perth, Australia
I've seen Tucker B's a couple of times in my travels and everytime I've had to look twice at what I was seeing. A seemingly bunch of misfits - a balding older guy in a filthy beard mixed with younger, better looking members in flannies with the oldest, most worn out guitars I've ever seen. They're just an interesting bunch. Both gigs, I might add, were as different sounding as you could get - one heavy and thrashy, and the other, just nice and folky. You can't but help love this band.. and they are sentiments shared by most.
Seeing how many gigs this lot seem to play in Sydney, you could excuse many for thinking they are actually from our town. In fact, they're from Perth and have been on a year long tour which is about to end after a few dates in Melbourne and Sydney including the Big Day Out. A sad loss for us eastern seaborders. Farewell Tucker B's (for now).
Some mp3's... Unfortunatley their single 'The Turning' isn't available for download but make sure you check it out on their myspace site... it gives Midlake a big run for their money.
