A nice way to finish the Australia Day Long weekend would be to head down to Yurong Street East Sydney to watch the 10 finalists of the Optus ONE80 project. Basically, entrants had to put together a short pilot for a drama with the basis that if they win, they'll have the show shaped into a multi episode series to be screened on MTV Australia.
There are bands on show too. Sandwich Club favourites, Temper Trap, will be performing as well as Something With Numbers. It's all catered by Wagamama noodles and there will be drinks (as if this weekend hasn't been big enough already!). Should be a fun night...
