I realise I may be sounding rather like a faulty iPod that has a habit of skipping on your favourite track but The Preytells warrant every ounce of attention that has been hurtled their way in the past few months. Their melodically howling track Don't Leave Me Alone has just won them Triple J's prestigious Southbound Festival Competition which puts them alongside such artists as You Am I and Modest Mouse plus they are due to release their debut Could I Change Your Mind EP in early February. (Easy stuey....breathe.....).

This W.A. wonder are rapidly swooning the masses with their matured guitar melodies and soft, awakening vocals that seem to charm your eyes into closing and your ears into nirvana. Pay attention and buy their EP when it is released, the experience that awaits you....ooooooh tingles!
