Me at 4am tomorrow morning

Only 2 more hours... I'm hanging out for the end of work. The second Friday after the new year is always a return to the normal weekend. It seems that everyone has recovered from the onslaught of xmas and new year's and is ready for the return of the regular weekly booze fest that's been eating away at our liver for years.
So tonight involves a few cans somewhere... but where? I feel like seeing some gigs (to be honest, I haven't seen many lately -I decided to give my ears a rest after Falls). Two come to mind. There is the Sandwich Club Reunion party at the Annandale (at least we termed it that because all the bands on show have played at an Sclub night in the past) or I could go check out MUM (insert your own Mum joke here), a new night at World Bar where Newcastle band The Common Code is headlining. I am undecided and will probably do both - even so, my decision won't be made by the time I finish this post so I've decided to construct a little Friday afternoon playlist of the bands playing at both gigs.
