Officially, the festival starts on Friday, but the bill today borders on ridiculous(chk) A few clashes between the Filth stage and the Playground stage, but what it lacks in timetable it more than makes up for in lineup

Another Sydney love-in? Congrats are due to Cuthbert & the Nightwalkers, who just won themselves a spot at the Great Escape c/o JJJ Unearthed. They'll be playing tunes with their friends in an afternoon event headlined by talent-full and genreless Offcuts, and the equally undefinable oddball Laura Imbruglia.
