Batrider - Pink Guitars, Yellow Stars

I've been hearing about Batrider the last couple of weeks in anticipation of their upcoming Sydney show. They're a hard rocking four piece originally from NZ, now living in Melbourne, and they spread some serious feminine angst. With their shrieking front-woman and crunching guitars this is a band to help you get your angry on.
The most recent recording I found (c/o Get Big Little Kid - thanks Geoff!) is actually an acoustic number that downplays their intensity. It's off their very limited acoustic 7-track EP, Pink Guitars Yellow Stars, which they will be selling tomorrow night (Thursday) at the Hoey in Sydney. Try to get down there, the live set is supposed to be a face-melter. (Playing with Yes Nukes, Say Cheese and Die, and Skullsquadron)
