Spacious electronic music rests somewhere between the hours of 3 and 5am on the musical timescale. It has its place.. its just that you're rarely there to appreciate it. When I concentrate really hard and try to visualize Fabulous Diamonds, I see a bald man in a shiny white spacesuit walking through a rainforest. The reality is a boy and a girl, wearing robes and living in Melbourne. Its just that they seem to meld the tribal and futuristic with such little effort, and the results are kinda chilling. Strange? Sure, but most definitely original.
