Bungalows, yes? New EP on the way? yes... I cannot tell you how much I'm into this band at the moment. It's like Guns 'n Roses turned all indie, picked up some gunja, summoned the spirit of Marley and became The Bungalows... maybe. But damn it's good.
These boys from Gerringong are doing great things at the moment. And although on first listen they may not seem that impressive, give them another go and I assure you you'll be hooked. Catchy riffs, bouncing guitars which is at times reggaeish and a voice that would put Barnsey to shame.
I actually put these guys on for the opening slot at Sandwich Club @ Candy's a few weeks back and was left feeling a tinge of regret for not having them on later. To make amends, I booked them again. This time for Art, Bitch. (yes more blatant self-promotion here!). Get there around 9 and watch these lads rip the art from the walls.
